Tell us about yourself
First, complete our online franchise inquiry form. This helps us get to know who you are, what experience you have in the restaurant industry, what geographic areas you’re interested in developing, and what funds you have available to invest. Once we’ve reviewed your information, we’ll schedule a call to answer your questions and share more about Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli.

After you’ve met our initial requirements, we’ll ask you to complete our official franchise application. Once completed, you'll gain access to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), which provides the information necessary to begin your due diligence process. It includes a discussion of initial and ongoing fees, a detailed investment breakdown, limited financial performance, and contact information for existing franchisees.
Meet the team
You’ll be invited to a Discovery Day in Denver, CO, where you'll learn more about The Moose, see our operations in action, and meet the team that will support you in your adventure.
Depending on your background and experience, you may be required to work in one of our training restaurants for a week or two, so you can see for yourself what it takes to own and operate a Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli franchise.
Join the moose
After we've both conducted our due diligence and determined that we're a good match, we'll issue you a franchise agreement. Once you review and sign the agreement, you’ll officially become a Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli franchisee.
Build your Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli
With the help of our franchise development and broker resources, you’ll search for the right site, then submit a site package to our site selection committee for final approval. Once you receive approval from us, we’ll work with you to negotiate and execute your lease. Then, you’ll work with your selected contractors to build your own Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli.
Attend our 5 week training program
Our operations and development teams will work alongside you during the pre and post-opening phases, to help ensure that you're ready to provide your guests the legendary Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli experience.
