Mark Laramie, CEO
Mark is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of food-related management experience, including growing and expanding three major fast food chains: Papa Murphy’s, Quiznos and Little Caesars Pizza. Mark served as the President of Papa Murphy's Intl., the COO of Quiznos Subs and the Group Vice President of Little Caesars Pizza.
In addition, Mark has also held various C-level roles as a consultant in the food industry, where numerous companies have benefited from his experience and expertise. Mark is recognized for creating innovative strategies and spurring record growth in all the brands he has managed. He is a versatile leader who is skilled at implementing operational efficiencies and reducing costs while overseeing everything from store operations to brand management and marketing. The result of all this hard work? A proven track record of elevating several mid-level national brands into top-ranked growth companies.

Kevin Sloane, President
Kevin is one of the original founders of Smiling Moose Deli. His vision as an entrepreneur combined with 21 years of restaurant management experience, is the cornerstone of Smiling Moose Deli’s initial and continued success. Before creating Smiling Moose Deli, Kevin owned and operated various full service bar and restaurant concepts in Virginia and Colorado, most notably the Barrel House in Boulder, Colorado. In Kevin's current role as the President, he is responsible for day-to-day store operations and commensurate support functions.
Stephanie Mehta, Vice President of Business Services
Stephanie brings more than 20 years of experience in food service with Taco Bell, McDonalds, Papa Murphy's Intl. and Four Tier Consulting to the Smiling Moose Deli table. During her service over the years, she has held leadership positions in project management, training, human resources and people coaching, P & L management, new product introductions, store level operations and multi-unit supervision. Today, at Smiling Moose, Stephanie’s responsibilities include HR guidance, training and development of franchise owners, training systems development and oversight, and POS and project management.
Bryan Brutsch, Director of Operations
Bryan is one of the co-founders of Smiling Moose Deli. His experience in both fast-casual and full-service restaurants help him fulfill his current role of Director of Operations. Bryan oversees the day-to-day operations of the company store division, as well as conducts in-store training for all new franchise owners.
Larry Hill, Director of Development
Larry brings years of construction and development experience to Smiling Moose Deli. In the past, he helped Quiznos franchisees construct and open new stores. His vast skill set includes construction management, contractor selection, municipality regulations, equipment procurement and architectural planning. In addition, Larry has experience in operations, franchise sales, and franchise services. At Smiling Moose Deli, Larry fulfills these functions and responsibilities.
